I’ve just heard word back from two presitigious, juried exhibitions that my work has been accepted. The Williamstown Contemporary Art Prize and Exhibition features art in the complete range of media, which means they have a veritable slew of entries from all types of artists. Just being accepted is no easy task. The second exhibition is “Lens Mist”, held by the City of Kingston in conjunction with the Mordialloc By the Bay Food, Wine and Music Festival, and features photography of the sea and it’s environs, especially Port Phillip Bay. It is seen by thousands of people during the course of the festival (which I used to shoot for the City of Kingston years ago when I was doing a lot of freelance editorial work). I’m tiold that several of my images have been acepted, which is a fabulous result as I submitted 6.
