Passion Exhibition Series

I see images. I cannot drive down a road, walk down a street, sit at my desk, or be anywhere without images imposing themselves on my psyche. It may be a play of the light. It could be a juxtaposition. It might be an idea of an image I want to realize. A scene. A concept. An image that speaks to me.
I very much work with what I am given. I don’t use a lot of equipment. I don’t spend a lot of time post-processing. I have my camera nearby almost all the time, and I grab images when I can. Often it is when on the road, travelling for a daytime job that takes me all over the state. I can’t wait for the light to be right. I don’t want to. I want to capture that which is there before me, finding inspiration in whatever environment I find myself confronted with.
That’s the passion. To make the ordinary extraordinary. To show the world in a different way to the way most people see it. To make images that are meaningful to me, and that I hope will engage the viewer that they may derive their own meaning from it.
